in other news, i'm taking the graduate record examination soon - well, at the end of the month, to be exact. i call it the graduate record examination instead of it's name, the GRE, because the full title makes me feel like I'm a character in Harry Potter, sitting for some awesome wizadry examination.
i shall take it once, and if i achieve a somewhat decent score, possibly try and study to take it again. oh joyous existence.
i have also begun(correction: jamison has begun) to look at graduate schools. i will attend after my 4-year stint at the Navy, of course. as i refuse to go into debt (yucky word) to finance a higher education, my father suggested i join the navy.
he then suggested that i take a government job - specifically, a secret agent in the c.i.a. - and get them to pay for graduate school. entirely a possibility... a very tempting one, although I do not know how I would get the c.i.a.'s (positive) attention with my average g.p.a. and college resume.
