yesterday afternoon, i got all done up and dressed to the nines. xerxes got all excited cuz we were going outside to 'play'. oh, he was not happy when he figured out that this 'playing' was merely a photoshoot - and that there would be no walk involved.

the xerx is a good dog. he is especially great at cleaning plates, applesauce cups, and the like after you have finished with your meal. archer farms organic applesauce is his favorite (as it is mine) and he licks every crevice in that 1/2 cup serving that there is.
in an effort to give my digestive system a little jump-start (we're going on 15+ days without a deuce, not too surprising to those who know me), i ate some of that digestive aid yogurt. xerxes, being the gentleman he is, pleaded with me to let him finish the micro-scraps of yogurt left in the cup. being a great owner, i obliged his begging eyes.
but then he started acting w.e.i.r.d.
all squirly and such.
and i just figured it out: do you know why?
he did such a great job of cleaning the left-out yogurt cup, he even ate the foil wrapper.
what a dog...
